Among all of the boats that participated in the World Kilo Run in Sarasota, only one boat could beat the previous world record. Team Instigator, reaching speeds of 124.52 mph, topped their previous world record in the Sarasota Kilo Run 2010.

Team Warpaint was the Superboat 750 class winner at the Super Boat International Florida Championship. Bob Vesper, owner and driver, ran the boat at an average speed of 92.78mph.
