So you want to see some action. Powerful storms tried to slow down the Super Boat Race this past weekend in Michigan City, but not a chance. After a little delay… the weather turned to be AWESOME without a cloud in the sky. Check out the racing in the final photo gallery of Michigan City.

The teams arrived early for the boat parade and block party on Franklin Street. This year’s event was unbelievable with a better than ever crowd. Thank you Michigan City.

Races were held at 11:00 and 1:00 pm on Sunday. Great competition in all the classes on Sunday in very flat calm waters. The beaches were packed with beach goers arriving early at sunrise to get their tents up and to have their beachside views.

See the 27th running of the Suncoast Offshore Grand Prix. An estimated 3000 spectator boats lined the course, all around turn one. Boats were 5 and 6 rows deep.

Teams and fans filled the pits and Van Wezel parking lot. Thousands of fans found their favorite teams and watched them wrench on their boats… as they got them ready for Sunday’s Grand Prix Festival race.

The 21st Annual Miami Super Grand Prix was yet again, another great success!  Crowds flocked to the shore to watch the power boats reach speeds up to 100 MPH!  Team Cintron took first place finishing the race in 33 minutes with an average speed of 95 mph.  Be sure to also check out Photo Gallery [...]
