The teams arrived early for the boat parade and block party on Franklin Street. This year’s event was unbelievable with a better than ever crowd. Thank you Michigan City.
Races were held at 11:00 and 1:00 pm on Sunday. Great competition in all the classes on Sunday in very flat calm waters. The beaches were packed with beach goers arriving early at sunrise to get their tents up and to have their beachside views.
See the 27th running of the Suncoast Offshore Grand Prix. An estimated 3000 spectator boats lined the course, all around turn one. Boats were 5 and 6 rows deep.
