Sarasota County recently hosted the 28th annual Suncoast Offshore Super Boat Grand Prix Festival and the event was a huge success! The festival attracted 107,000 spectators, with 57,000 people coming from outside the destination. The event, held on Lido Beach, generated an estimated economic impact of $14.3 million and over 13,000 room nights. All proceeds from the event go to support Suncoast Charities for Children which has contributed over $14 million to construct local facilities over the past 27 years!
