The newest International entry into Super Boat racing is Tor Staubo from Oslo, Norway. He comes to Key West for the 31st Annual World Championships in a new Ferrari red 48′ MTI with big power. We asked him what his goal is for Key West. ”First, to just make it to Key West and second, I can not say,” exclaims a very excited Staubo.
With the big goose down the side of his boat… Staubo talks about how he got the name. “The international translation of GASSE means GOOSE IT.” So, I guess Tor will be telling veteran throttleman Johnny Tomlinson more times than not… Gasse, Gasse, Gasse… JOHNNY!
