Johnny Tomlinson – Champion’s Perspective

My first year to Key West was 1984 and my first year racing was 1986. I’ve won the world title over a dozen times and Key West is the best place to win. I’ve been and won with different teams and I hope to win with our new time Gasse. Some of my titles have been with Drambuie on Ice, Bacardi Silver, CRC, Budweiser Select and Bud Light… so it’s been a great run.

My partner and I (Mike Thomas) have a lot of racing clients that go to Key West, so it’s a very busy week for us. Fortunately, not like the old days where you would have to change motors after each race… motors these days can last the whole week. A little easier for us not having to pull all-nighters.
